It’s a unified platform that connects educators, specialists, and industry partners. Members can learn, collaborate, view opportunities, submit opportunities, and participate in a community built around advanced manufacturing.Who is the network for?
The platform is designed for anyone engaged in modern manufacturing: students, educators, job seekers, working specialists, employers, and training organizations.What can I do as a member?
Depending on your membership level, you can access the resource library, view work opportunities, submit opportunities, participate in community channels, and share or review projects on the work board. -
Membership & Access
Do I need a membership to use the platform?
Yes. A membership grants access to the areas relevant to your role—Education, Specialist, or Industry. Some pages are open, but platform interactions require an active membership.What’s the difference between the membership types?
Each membership unlocks different tools and visibility:Education members can access learning resources and view opportunities in a read-only format.
Specialist members can view all opportunities and engage with work-related content.
Industry members can submit and manage opportunities and review engagement analytics.
Can I change my membership later?
Yes. You can upgrade or switch at any time depending on your needs. -
Opportunities & Work Board
What is the Work Board?
It’s the central hub where real opportunities—jobs, projects, training requests, and collaborations—are displayed. Specialists and industry partners use the active board, while educators and students see a read-only embedded version.How do opportunities get onto the Work Board?
Industry members and approved partners can submit opportunities through the submission tool. Once approved or automatically published, they appear on the Work Board.Why do some postings appear instantly while others take longer?
Most postings publish immediately. If a submission requires verification—for example, incomplete details or missing information—it is reviewed and published within 24 to 48 hours.How long do opportunities stay active?
Opportunities remain active until the submitter removes them or requests removal. This can be done through your submission management link. -
Managing Your Submissions
Can I update something I posted previously?
Yes. Logged-in members can return to the submission tool and update their earlier entries. Only the submitting user has access to edit or delete their own postings.Can I delete a posting?
Yes. You can remove your posting using the same management interface.Can I submit more than one opportunity?
Yes. You can submit as many opportunities as necessary. Each submission creates its own listing on the Work Board. -
Skills & Matching
Why does the platform ask for required skills on opportunities?
Skills tags help members navigate the Work Board more effectively. They also support future matching features by aligning opportunities with the people who have the relevant experience.How are skills used across the platform?
They’re used for filtering, categorizing opportunities, identifying relevance, and helping members find postings that align with their goals or expertise. -
Accuracy & Security
Is my contact information visible to the public?
No. Only the opportunity details appear publicly. Contact information is used for verification and internal communication.How is accuracy maintained across the platform?
Members are required to confirm accuracy when submitting opportunities. In addition, postings may be flagged for manual review before being published.Why do I have to log in to manage submissions?
For security. Only the member who created the posting can edit or delete it. -
